What a sad place this town is - worlds apart from other interesting northern destinations such as Greenland, Iceland, and the northern part of Finland/Norway etc.  In Iqaluit they have no business skills whatsoever to serve and please tourists and the nature / scenery is bland and not "wow" in any way shape or form.  Even in our hotel the tours they advertised in leaflets were almost all recommending to take a plane and go to far regions of Nunavut, rather than tours in Iqaluit itself.  Oh well.  That's a town to use as a transit point on the way somewhere else.
